What the Bang Bon file actually contained

The Nation, citing the Immigration Bureau, listed four Japanese nationals, four Chinese nationals, two Myanmar nationals, two Taiwanese, one highland resident whose nationality was not specified, and one Thai national. Officers seized phones, laptops, Wi-Fi units, work desks, Japanese police uniforms and fake police cards. The alleged pattern was a call-centre scam aimed at victims in Japan. Pol Maj Gen Panthana Nuchanart, deputy commissioner of the Immigration Bureau, said groups of this kind still operate from time to time.

The visa point is the revocation line. Remaining in the kingdom is a permission, not a property right. The Immigration Act B.E. 2522 lets the Bureau cancel permission to stay when the grounds fit. You do not need to be past the handwritten date. You need to be in the house when the warrant lands, or on the work-permit gap Anutin named the next morning.

Do assume, if you are living in Thailand on a visitor page, that a valid stamp is no longer the whole defence if the activity under the roof is the problem. That is the part that hurts if you get it wrong.
